In 1992 the first Street Parade took place in Zurich as the Swiss equivalent of the Berlin Love Parade. Seven Love Mobiles paraded through Zurich with 1000 people dancing in the streets. The people watching thought we were crazy.

The Street Parade still takes place every August as the biggest event for electronic music in the world with almost 1 million people attending and 30 Love Mobiles and 8 stages. The Street Parade and Zurich’s techno culture have been part of Switzerland’s UNESCO cultural heritage since 2017.
