In spring 1997 I was commissioned by a French dance music magazine to go to London and photograph a story about Drum & Bass.

One of the weekly D&B club nights in London was Movement at Bar Rumba on Shaftsbury Ave with resident DJ Bryan Gee and produced by the Bulldozer Network. 

After moving to London in January 1998, I regularly photographed the club night, as it was heaving with young Londoners dnb stepping wildly in the sweaty low-ceilinged basement. This series is now part of the British Culture Archive.
