The series documents the Summer of 1998 as photographer Mischa Haller travelled across the UK to chronicle clubbers and partygoers out on the streets in the small hours of the morning.
He covered the time between the night clubs closing and people going home, those one or two hours when most of the world is asleep, but clubbers carry on. The intention was to show what it felt like to be young, up all night in that slightly woozy, surreal state.
Published in February 2025 as a book with the title Not Going Home by the British Culture Archive.
